Junior/Mid/Senior level Java Engineer - Glasgow

We're seeking to recruit a Java developer for a leading IT consultancy in Glasgow. The business works with some of the world's largest organisations, from investment banks, retail, energy companies and government departments. They employ over 1700 technologists and have offices across the UK and US.

As a software engineer you can expect to be involved in engineering software solutions, working with prototypes and proof of concepts and developing fully functioning applications based on frameworks such as .Net and Spring/Spring Boot, and using languages including Java, Scala, JavaScript, Python, C# and Go .

Y ou will also take part in t he automation of environmental and application deployment, scaling, and management using Kubernetes, Terraform, both in the cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) or on-prem ise.

We expect you to be an engineer at heart and enjoy the challenge of building complex software solutions as well as wanting to work across a range of tech environments. Your priorities will be building new systems and improving stability, security and efficiency.

You'll earn a salary ranging from £40,000 to £70,000, dependent on your experience + 5% benefits allowance + bonus up to 10%.
