Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Software Engineer - D365 Data Warehouse to join our team. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and will be based at our state-of-the-art HQ in Southampton, however, all our people, where they can are currently working from home and we recognise the future need to be flexible. As such we are open to applications that can deliver work remotely where appropriate. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £36,414 - £42,840 per annum.

About the Software Engineer - D365 Data Warehouse role:

We are currently undertaking an ambitious project to move from our current SAP ERP system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 FSCM (D365). As part of this, we are fulfilling a wide range of reporting requirements with a variety of reporting tools, including native reporting tools within D365 and PowerBI reports running within an Azure-based data warehouse.

This project has also identified other data sources within the business that are out of scope for this project, but which will form part of a corporate reporting platform. The role will focus on building reporting solutions either within the Azure-based data warehouse, or within D365 itself.

What we’re looking for in our Software Engineer - D365 Data Warehouse:

Essential

- Experience collaborating with business users, gathering their requirements and designing effective solutions

- Experience producing and maintaining reporting solutions

- Very good track record supporting and operating the services you build, identifying and resolving issues in production

Desirable

- Experience working with native D365 reporting tool, SQL Server or PowerBI

- Experience of building and developing a Data Warehouse, particularly using D365 FSCM entities

- Experience working with Analysis Services, Data Factory, Data Lake

- Experience working with ARM templates, Azure DevOps and Azure Logic Apps
