Over 5 billion people around the world do not have access to safe surgical care and Digital Surgery is on a mission to change that. We are building software that pushes the boundaries of surgical care. We build tools to help healthcare systems improve training, reduce errors, and decrease the cost of medical care.
With our award winning Touch Surgery application and the professional services we are building on top of it, Digital Surgery has created an ecosystem that uses the latest and cutting edge technologies like AI, augmented reality and computer vision to modernise surgical training, return actionable feedback on surgical performance, and deliver safer surgery around the world.
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join our platform team. As a company we are processing an ever increasing amount of surgical video and user-generated events. We need someone who can help design and build the systems that handle this data and keep it secure.
This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse but tight knit-group of dedicated people, working in an agile environment. We constantly reflect on our performance and work to improve processes wherever possible. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We are inherently curious. We are always thinking about how our actions can have a bigger impact and how we can increase transparency to make the best engineering department we can: /physician-heal-thysel... .
We also want to make sure that work doesn't interfere with life too much. That's why we have a flexible working policy where our core hours are 10-5 and you can also work from home when you need to. And, you can bring your dog to work too!
