Our long standing client based in London is exclusively working with us to secure a highly experienced fully remote working Database Architect specialising in MySQL. They are looking for a Database Architect who has an in depth working knowledge of MySQL along with experience working for Global Finance/Financial organisation with large user numbers.

Additional skills are: Linux, Storage (NetApp/NAS), Load-Balancer (NGNX, AVI, F5), Splunk Monitoring, Automation/Scripting.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in a Global Financial/Finance company
• Database Architecture/Engineering within large organisations
• Record of delivering complex solutions
• Knowledge of Security/Compliance/Risk considerations as they relate to solution design, implementation and operation within global financial organisations
• Ability to navigate complex operational environments effectively
• In depth MySQL (deep performance/resilience)
• Linux
• Storage (NetApp or NAS)
• Load-balancer (F5, NGNX, Avi)
• Monitoring (Splunk)
• Automation & Scripting (Ansible, Mulesoft)
• Root Cause Analysis
• Excellent verbal/written communication
• Experience delivering solutions in complex global environments of over 50,000
