Principal RF Engineer - Surrey - up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits - REF 2011 I am currently recruiting for a Principal RF Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Surrey, but on hybrid basis. Salary up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits. The organisation has been established for over 30 years and are renowned for the best at what they do within the defense and military sector on a global basis. They are a small yet specialist team employing around 50 people, but turnover is over £20 million annually with that figure set to continue moving upwards based on the ever-increasing demand for their products and systems. To support the business with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans they have the need to appoint a Principal RF Engineer a permanent basis. In this role as a Principal RF Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting highly sophisticated RF systems for a varied range of complex applications. You will interpret the requirements from the customer whilst understanding the objectives and from here will go away and conduct the necessary research with a view to coming up with an appropriately engineered solution that meets or exceeds their expectations. Once satisfied, you will technically write the proposal for the customer, whilst ensuring that the product, application or system complies with the necessary standards and legislations. You will also be liaising with suppliers. Electronics Design Manager - Glamorgan - Ref 2016 I am currently recruiting for an Electronics Design Manager to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan. The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they have a very impressive turnover, employ around 250 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market. In line with the business's expansion plans and in order for them to meet their objectives they have the need to appoint an Electronics Design Manager on a permanent basis. In this role as an Electronics Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10 Engineers, made up of Electronics Design Engineers and Embedded Software Engineers . This will be a hands off role and you're primary objective will be to get the best out of the 10 Engineers, ensuring all projects are completed to a satisfactory standard, on time and in budget, with the support from the Programmes team. That being said, you will have to use your technical experience historically to aid with problem solving and guide the engineers through to find appropriate solutions. You will spend most of your time working on NPD/ NPI projects, but you will also be expected to support existing products with regards to sustaining activities, obsolescence and cost reduction activities.
