At Adaptable Recruitment we are working with a growing, values driven organisation based in Liverpool who is looking to recruit a temporary Data Protection Co-ordinator. Salary: up to £28,500 depending on experience Location: Liverpool - Hybrid Hours: Full-time/Part-time considered - 37 hours per week TEMP - 3-6 MONTHS - NEEDED URGENTLY - POTENTIAL TO GO PERMANENT Main Responsibilities to Include: Monitor and triage data protection enquiries via email and phone. Support the management of data protection incidents, including record-keeping and coordination across departments. Manage and coordinate responses to Data Subject Rights requests (DSARs), including conducting internal data searches and applying redactions. Assist in maintaining key documentation including the Register of Processing Activities (RoPA) and register of data sources. Provide administrative support to the Data Protection team, contributing to breach management, enquiries, and reporting. Liaise with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate compliance. Support with ongoing training and awareness around data protection practices. Assist in maintaining high standards of information governance across the organisation. Ideal Candidate: A working knowledge of Data Protection legislation (e.g., UK GDPR, DPA 2018). Experience managing DSARs or similar requests involving confidential data. Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and handle sensitive matters. Confident in liaising with stakeholders and maintaining accurate, secure records. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
