This role includes designing, developing, and maintaining data scraping pipelines. THE COMPANY: This role is with an Art-Tech Start-up that is investing heavily in its data capabilities. This company recently had another round of funding and they are looking for someone to join their inclusive and collaborative team. You would be joining a cross-functional team of 10 different consultants across Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analysts and you will report to a Lead Data Engineer. THE ROLE: As a Web Scraping Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data scraping pipelines to collect and analyse data from various sources. You will work closely with our data scientists, developers, and product teams to provide critical insights and information that will help drive our business decisions. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in data engineering and web scraping techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, SQL, and data scraping tools such as BeautifulSoup and Scrapy. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be able to design and implement automated testing and quality control procedures to ensure that the data being collected is accurate and reliable.
