The Software Architect will take a leadership role in the Technology & Product Development team and will be responsible for leading the architecture, interfaces and delivery of technical solutions to meet business needs. Key Tasks: End to end design and development of creative software architecture Evaluate design options against technical, business and project criteria Full stack development Design, simulate and test to verify system requirements have been met Lead design review meetings and work with cross-functional Agile teams to resolve design issues Propose improvements to software development process Support, guide and mentor colleagues in projects and promote best practice to achieve excellence in the discipline Requirements: Degree in Software Engineering or related discipline Previous experience of system and software architecture in an engineering environment Experience of cloud-based hosting using Azure or AWS Experience of Agile development methodologies Experience working with Embedded Systems Experience of networking issues and solutions Knowledge of SDLC techniques Excellent leadership skills Excellent communication and influencing skills Must be able to pass SC Clearance (UK resident for 5 years) A fantastic opportunity to join a global business who truly care about making the world a safer place and who make innovative products to protect our society.
