Responsibilities Servicing a fleet of forklift trucks from the company's depot in Northamptonshire Servicing other material handling equipment as and when required Repairing and restoring damaged forklifts so that they are ready for resale Cooperating with the Service Manager and Workshop Manager to ensure service is carried out efficiently Maintaining a safe and tidy workbench and overall workshop Requirements The company has a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background but this is not essential. The company is open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, commercial vehicles or cranes or other related sectors provided you have strong hydraulics and pneumatics experience. Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you must be based in a commutable distance to the depot in Northamptonshire. Responsibilities Carrying out project work alongside the Project Manager and to the requirements of the project plan Developing site layouts for clients across the UK & Ireland and supporting staff across Europe when needed Commissioning AMRs for clients, delivering technical training and advice throughout the process Overseeing contractors on site and liaising with site management throughout the project Developing a high level of understanding of the company's product range and uses Travelling to customer sites across the UK & Ireland as well as Europe when needed Requirements The company are looking for an individual with experience within the warehouse robotics industry working within a technical role. It is essential that you have an understanding of robotics, ideally having an understanding of AMRs, warehouse logistics and experience using AutoCAD and programming software. Having exceptional communication skills in both English and Mandarin is a must as you will be dealing with customers and internal staff on a daily basis. Within this role, you will be expected to work across the UK and Ireland mostly, so you can be based anywhere within these countries. There will be an expectation to travel internationally when required.
