Civils Operative (TELECOMS) Location : Birmingham, Midlands Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: 28k - 38k depending on experience Project Partners are now recruiting for experienced Civils Operatives based in the Midlands who are looking for a new full-time, permanent position within Telecommunications. You will be based at their Birmingham yard, and you will need to be willing to travel nationwide, as the clients work is national. (No requirement to cover Scotland or the far north of England) Purpose of the role: To undertake telecoms civils works (including excavations, duct laying, reinstatement, cabinet and box building) to support fibre and utility network build and maintenance activities across fixed line projects. Ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, to quality standards, and in compliance with client and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidates will have a background in box and/or cabinet building. Duties and Responsibilities: Knowledge of reinstatement specifications (HAUC). Ability to read and interpret civils/fibre build drawings. Strong awareness of site safety and compliance. Team player with good communication skills. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Experience mentoring apprentices or less experienced operatives. Knowledge of fibre network build processes. Qualifications and Experience Required for the role: (Essential) Experience in telecoms or utilities civils works (excavation, ducting, reinstatement). NRSWA (Street Works) Operative accreditation. CSCS card. Full UK Driving Licence. Understanding of Health & Safety requirements on civils sites. Ability to operate plant and machinery (e.g., mini-diggers). (Desirable) First Aid at Work. CAT & Genny training. Confined Spaces training. Experience on SPEN, Virgin Media, or CityFibre projects. Openreach accreditations Digger & Plant tickets

Business Analyst (Salesforce) Location : Magor, South east Wales Hours : 37.5 per week, Mon-Fri, 9-5pm (3 days onsite, 2 wfh) Daily Rate : £250 per day Type: 3month rolling contract, will extend Department : IT & Systems The Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis activities across development projects, ensuring thorough investigation, comprehensive documentation, and effective stakeholder engagement to support successful project outcomes. As part of the Development Operations Team, you will deliver services that support, maintain, and enhance internal system tools used across the business. In addition, this team offers customer-facing 'add-on' services such as customer portals, system integrations, and custom development to clients who engage with core offerings, including NOC, FLM, and Project delivery services." Principle Accountabilities / Objectives: Collaborate effectively with business users, customers, and the systems team to align on project goals and requirements. Proactively engage with stakeholders to communicate progress, manage expectations, and address concerns. Identify and understand business and customer needs, ensuring they are clearly communicated to the delivery team. Conduct business analysis to a level that supports accurate scoping, planning, and successful project delivery. Continuously refine and enhance business analysis practices to improve quality and efficiency. Actively contribute to the ongoing development of systems team processes and capabilities, supporting a culture of continuous improvement Main Responsibilities: Determine the investigating approach such as interviews, shadowing, workshops etc. Ensuring collection of both qualitative & quantitative data. Defining problems and analysing root causes. Support documentation of solution options, including cost / benefit, impact & risk analysis. Fully managing the requirements lifecycle. Eliciting, documenting, analysing & organizing requirements. Devising acceptance test cases & scenarios. Planning, executing & reporting the outcome of acceptance tests Documenting, analysing & designing business processes. Identifying stakeholders. Manage, monitor & improve stakeholder relationships. Implement stakeholder engagement / communication plans.
