We are recruiting for a global investment management organisation who have introduced a flexible working programme, where you are only required to work in the office circa 1 to 2 days week and the rest working from home. Following a multi-year business transformation programme significant changes were introduced in the way they operated as a Platform business, they are now seeking 3 Data Stewards to compliment this area of the business as it moves forward. Their Data Management Hub is a new team designed to ensure the data within their applications is of sufficient quality to support the business, their customers and meet their regulatory requirements. As a Data Manager, you will be responsible for assisting all areas of the Data Management Hub (Data Stewards, Data Management and Data Cleansing). This will include but not be limited to: Assisting with the generation and distribution of management information across the Data Management Hub, including regular and ad hoc reporting requirements. Supporting the Data Stewards with large scale change initiatives, including supporting the wider Data Architecture Transformation program. Responsibility for the governance of the creation and maintenance of data quality rules, including the prioritisation of development backlogs Assisting with communications to key stakeholders and customers, Technology, the Central Data Team, Operations etc. Helping Senior Management with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required to help drive the business forward As a self-starter who is keen to take on responsibility and new projects, you will already possess knowledge of various data principles, ideally including Data Quality, Data Governance and Data Protection. Additionally, you will be someone with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, coupled with being able to demonstrate abilities and experience in duties and responsibilities mentioned above, together with being able to anticipate potential problems, plan for such events and problem solve This is only a brief description and further information is available on application together with details of the remuneration package that includes a highly attractive base salary, bonus potential and a market leading non-contributory pension.
