The candidate will help to develop and improve the Back End applications, ensuring they are user friendly and high performing web applications. They will also write well documented code, diagnose and resolve system issues and attend review meetings. Candidates for this role MUST have at least 4 years experience developing Back End systems in a production environment, 4 years+ experience using Python and Django, strong SQL database experience, experience with CI/CD, REST API's and ideally some knowledge using AI driven coding assistants like Cursor or GitHub CoPilot (not essential). This is a permanent role and will require 1 day a week in the office in either London or Sheffield (some flexibility). There is a base of c£70K per year and a good package.

The Golang Backend Software Engineer will be required to design, implement, and test new Back End features; create technical documentation to support proposed solutions and feature development; apply best practices in automated testing; take end-to-end ownership of features from concept to deployment and post-release support; collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, and Product.
