Data Systems Analyst Location: Swansea - Hybrid Hours: 37 per week, Monday-Friday Contract Type: Temporary until 31st March 2026 Pay rate: £21.38 per hourWe're looking for a Data Systems Analyst to help drive the implementation of a Direct Data Capture (DDC) process across a laboratory environment, enhancing the accuracy and reliability of scientific data.You'll be at the heart of a collaborative technical team, working with internal specialists and external partners to deliver a robust, auditable solution that meets governance and accreditation standards. This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise, stakeholder engagement and project delivery. What you'll be doing: Leading the rollout of a tested DDC process into a live laboratory environment. Coordinating delivery, testing, and documentation to meet external accreditation standards. Scoping and analysing database solutions to inform future improvements. Developing innovative data handling processes to boost efficiency and evidence value. Providing specialist advice and producing guidance materials for users. What we're looking for: Strong experience with relational databases and SQL for data extraction and reporting. Proven track record of managing technical projects and working across multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor technical information to varied audiences. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
