The Role We are seeking a Power Platform Developer with strong experience designing, configuring, and delivering solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining case management and business applications, leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint. You will collaborate closely with testers, functional consultants, Product Owners, and architects to translate business needs into high-quality User Stories and working solutions. This role is based in the Warrington area, with an expectation of 2 days per week on-site (3-4 days during the initial fortnight). Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and implement solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Model Driven Apps). Build and maintain case management solutions and integrations with SharePoint. Work closely within an Agile Scrum team, collaborating with Product Owners, functional consultants, testers, and architects. Translate requirements into clear User Stories and deliver working features. Ensure solutions meet best practices for performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with UK and India-based technical teams, providing guidance and leadership where needed. Essential Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of Power Platform configuration and customisation. Experience with SharePoint (document and file storage). Case management solution development. Agile / Scrum delivery experience. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Knowledge of the UK Water Utilities sector (preferred). Desirable Skills Experience leading technical teams across geographies (UK & India). Knowledge of test automation on the Power Platform. About the Role We're looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong Azure and CI/CD integration expertise to join our Integration Team on a high-impact central government programme. This role will involve working closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and integration specialists to design and maintain robust automated testing frameworks that ensure seamless integration and deployment across cloud-based environments. To be considered for this role, candidates must: Hold active SC clearance or be eligible to obtain it. The role will initially require up to two days per week onsite in Newcastle for the first few months, reducing to one day per month thereafter. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks within an Azure DevOps environment. Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing. Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure test coverage across complex integration points. Analyse test results, log defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tools, and automation frameworks. Support integration and system testing within a cloud-based architecture. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience as an Automation Tester or QA Engineer in Azure-based environments. Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, pipelines, and automated test execution. Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration and automation within delivery pipelines. Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar. Understanding of API and integration testing methodologies. Familiarity with containerised environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) beneficial. Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
