Placement Services are currently working on behalf of our client based in Colnbrook who are looking to add a Business Analyst to their growing team. Our client is a E commerce business based in 4 different continents. Duties and Responsibilities of the role: Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, you will be involved in supporting projects through requirements gathering, testing and issue resolution during development and after go live. You will be supported by the Senior Business Analyst to ensure you have clear objectives and tasks to support the company to meet its aggressive growth objectives. A major element of this role is to manage the on boarding process of all retailers into our clients landscape and support the end to end testing of new retailers. This role will also be accountable for the understanding and documenting the requirements and end to end business processes. You will work with the Business to investigate, analyse, review, define and document business requirements, identify available options and recommend high-level solutions aligned with the overall architecture vision. You will support the full delivery lifecycle ensuring business requirements are properly understood and met by the delivered solution, including supporting the creation and execution of test scripts and the data cleansing / migration approach. Undertake investigative analysis to resolve issues raised by Retailers, Carriers and other 3rd parties. Identify, document deficiencies in processes or system functionality and help recommend solutions to rectify as appropriate. You will own your own business process and systems and manage all changes for them, this includes managing releases and updating IT documentation. You will also be responsible for Jira Support Tickets for your specialist area. Skills Required Excellent understanding of the development life cycle for business applications across a number of technologies in the UK and International market place. Strong presentation skills Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on verbal and written communication. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment. Excellent organisational skills and time management skills Good IT Skills eg. Microsoft Office Ability to solve problems quickly and completely Analyses problems (both technical and operational) and arrives at workable solutions. Design, document and develop new or enhance existing functionality to support business needs. To undertake and maintain own project and development plans and work in an agile manner using standardised development methodologies. Perform hands-on fixes, including software/ hardware install and upgrade, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications. Manage and develop your own and team projects to support the growth of the Monitor progress of requests for support and ensure users and other interested parties are kept informed. To liaise with colleagues regarding escalated issued and to agree appropriate courses of action and priorities. On the job training will be provided, and other specific training agreed as required.

Our client is a E commerce business based in 4 different continents. Duties and Responsibilities of the role: Analyses problems (both technical and operational) and arrives at workable solutions. To liaise with users regarding escalated issues and to agree appropriate courses of action and priorities. Design, document and develop new or enhance existing functionality to support business needs. To keep users up to date with progress and to liaise with colleagues and partners in a timely manner. To undertake and maintain own project and development plans and work in an agile manner using standardised development methodologies. Perform hands-on fixes, including software/ hardware install and upgrade, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications. Manage and develop your own and team projects to support the growth of the business. Monitor progress of requests for support and ensure users and other interested parties are kept informed. Lead the Unit and System Testing of software applications developed as part of the businesses development plan. Skills Required Proven experience in software engineering Excellent understanding of the development life cycle for business applications across a number of technologies in the UK and International market place. To be able manage all aspects of development from start to finish, including testing and bug fixes Ability to develop and produce efficient, scalable, reusable code using any of C#, t- sql, ASP.NET and other languages as needed. Create and design databases, views, stored procedures, T-SQL statements and user- defined functions of varying complexity with a "best practices" approach to keys, indices and relationships in SQL Server (including MySQL). Create intuitive, logical and dynamic user interfaces using HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XSL, and AJAX. C# - Windows services, Web services, SOLID principles ASP.Net (MVC) -Angular JS experience advantageous SQL Server experience WCF, WPF Web Services/SOA C#.net Strong leadership skills and experience Strong presentation skills Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on verbal and written communication.
