Find out more at IN THE UNITED KINGDOM In the UK, BAI has been awarded the 20-year contract by Transport for London (TfL) to deliver high-speed mobile connectivity across the capital in the most advanced and largest infrastructure project of its type in the world. BAI's partnership with TfL establishes a long-awaited backbone of connectivity across London with a city-wide integrated communications network delivering multi-carrier cellular, Wi-Fi, and fibre connectivity services. The 4G-enabled and 5G-ready communications network that BAI is building and operating as a neutral host for fixed and mobile operators will fast-track London's evolution as a smart city by helping to establish its smart communities. ABOUT THE ROLE Your passion for IT applications with proven experience solving complex IT infrastructure issues underpinned by a "can-do" attitude is exactly what we need as we shape our approach to build our processes and implementation plan for both key business and operational applications and systems. In this role, the IT Application Specialist is responsible for analysing, designing, implementing and maintaining BAI UK's key applications, in alignment with BAI's standards and application best practises. The IT Application Specialist will work closely with the Service Director to understand and develop for SaaS platforms, such as ServiceNow, as well as other critical IT systems. Be the technical application development specialist on the team to provide support and development of new applications, features and resolve outstanding defects Analyse requirements for operational support systems and design solutions to fulfill those requirements. This could involve working with business stakeholders and other technology specialists in other regions or in Group IT. Develop and test new features and enhancements as required Change and release management for new ServiceNow features and upgrades as per enterprise standards Provide incident and problem management for ServiceNow solutions in production Provide input to the definition and updating of relevant policies, procedures and standards relating to the applications Manage on-time delivery of work as promised while adhering to the endorsed methodologies Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's processes, systems and documentation. ABOUT YOU Experience with programming and web technologies (Javascript, Python, SNMP, PowerShell, SSH, REST, JSON, HTML, XML) Broad technical experience with ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM) Experience in Telecommunications, Networking or Cyber Security Understanding of Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, Cloud based technologies and Virtualization CMDB and Data Management Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in Business, Information Management, Computer Science, or related field Minimum 2 years hands on software development experience Current ServiceNow platform certification ITIL qualifications or experience/skills WHY WORK WITH US?
