IT & Systems Manager Milton Keynes £60,000-£80,000 Full-time, on-site Monday-Friday An established manufacturing business is looking for an IT & Systems Manager to take ownership of its IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems and management processes. You'll help keep systems secure and reliable while finding smarter ways to work through digital improvement and automation. In this role you will be looking over the site in Milton Keynes and also a site over to the US. Excitingly this is a brand new role within the business and a chance to make the role your own. The role You'll work with teams across the business and external IT partners to ensure technology and business processes support day-to-day operations, future growth and compliance. As it stands you will have one direct report. What you'll be doing Develop and deliver the IT strategy in line with business needs. Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, hardware, software and cloud services, working with external support providers. Manage cybersecurity, data protection, IT risks and business continuity planning. Manage IT suppliers, contracts, licences and budgets. Maintain and improve the Business Management System, including document control, audits and corrective actions. Support compliance with relevant standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001, where applicable. Improve and optimise ERP, CRM, quality and reporting systems. Identify opportunities for automation, digitalisation and more efficient workflows. Build useful KPI dashboards and management reports. Work with department heads and senior leaders to deliver system changes and encourage user adoption. Support and develop internal IT and systems colleagues, delivering training where needed. What we're looking for Experience managing IT infrastructure and business systems. Experience with ERP, CRM, QMS or similar business applications. Knowledge of ISO-based management systems and audit processes. A track record of improving systems, processes or delivering digital transformation projects. Experience managing external IT suppliers and service providers. A good understanding of cybersecurity, IT governance and data protection. You'll be organised, practical and confident working with both technical teams and colleagues across the wider business. CMM Programmer - Contract Northamptonshire £40p/h (outside IR35) We're looking for an experienced CMM Programmer to join a fast-paced manufacturing business on a contract basis. My client supplies into various industries inc aerospace, automotive and defence, they are manufacturing complex parts for these industries. This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong background in precision measurement and CMM programming, working within a quality-focused manufacturing environment to ensure components meet the required engineering specifications. If you're confident programming CMM equipment, interpreting engineering drawings and supporting manufacturing quality, this could be a great opportunity. The Role Create, develop and optimise CMM programmes for precision-engineered components. Operate CMM equipment to carry out dimensional inspection and verification. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and technical specifications. Produce accurate inspection reports and measurement data. Investigate dimensional issues and support root cause analysis where required. Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Support first-off inspections, production inspection and quality improvement activities. About You Previous experience as a CMM Programmer within a precision manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T and dimensional measurement. Experience programming and operating CMM equipment. Ability to interpret measurement data and identify non-conformances. A methodical approach with strong attention to detail. Able to work independently and hit deadlines within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Interested?
