Role: We are seeking to hire an experienced Programme Manager with a background in Data Centre rationalisation to lead and deliver a complex programme focused on modernising and rationalising the organisation's global Data Centre infrastructure. This includes transitioning Legacy environments to modern platforms, consolidating physical and virtual assets, and enabling Cloud adoption strategies while ensuring minimal business disruption. These roles demands strategic leadership and agility. You'll act as the bridge between diverse teams and senior stakeholders, demonstrating strategic thinking and problem-solving; risk management and decision-making under pressure and an ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple workstreams. Key elements of the role include: Programme Leadership: Define and manage the overall programme scope, objectives, and success criteria Develop and maintain programme plans, timelines, and budgets Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders to align programme outcomes with strategic objectives Provide regular updates and governance reporting to executive committees Technical Delivery Oversight: Coordinate activities across infrastructure, networking, storage, and application teams Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to migration, downtime, and data integrity Vendor & Partner Management: Manage third-party suppliers for hardware, software, and migration services Change Management: Drive organisational readiness and communication plans for impacted teams and users Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience managing large-scale Data Centre transformation programmes Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies (compute, storage, networking) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar) Expertise in migration strategies, including workload assessment and application dependency mapping Familiarity with ITIL processes and service continuity planning Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills Strong financial management and vendor negotiation experience Desirable: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) Programme/Project Management certifications (eg, MSP, PRINCE2, PMP.
