Job Advert: School Data Manager Location: Hillingdon Type: Full-time / Permanent Salary: £34,656 to £37,000 Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and proactive School Data Manager to join our team. This is a vital role in ensuring that accurate and timely data underpins every aspect of school life - from student progress tracking to statutory returns. The successful candidate will lead on the management, analysis, and reporting of data across the school, supporting staff, senior leaders, and governors in making evidence-based decisions that drive improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain all aspects of student data using Bromcom Produce accurate reports and analysis to support teaching, learning, and school improvement. Ensure compliance with statutory data returns (e.g., census, performance tables, exam entries). Provide training and support for staff in the effective use of school data systems. Oversee data integrity, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with GDPR. Collaborate with senior leaders to track student performance and identify areas for intervention. Person Specification Essential: Strong experience of working with school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom). Excellent IT skills, including Excel and data analysis tools. Ability to present complex data clearly to a range of audiences. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Desirable: Experience of working in a school environment. Knowledge of exam processes and assessment frameworks.
