The role is based in their Dundee office, on a hybrid working model doing 2 days per week in the office. Ideally, the candidate will come from a background in the public sector, but this is not essential.The role is looking for someone who comes from a technical background and has moved into the business analysis side.Key Responsibilities: Help shape the organisation's business systems strategy to align with the company goals. Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of business systems projects, ensuring requirements are met and solutions are delivered on time Play a hands-on role in implementing software solutions that meet business needs and improve efficiency Design and implement system processes and integrations that drive automation and operational efficiency Research and recommend new technologies or solutions that add value to the organisation Analyse complex data to identify trends, improve processes, and support data-driven decision-making Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decisions. This is a replacement headcount, and the role is inside IR35, Rate approx £425 per day. Key Projects: GDPR Compliance : A critical program involves reviewing all existing data to determine whether to replace, archive, or retrain it. The goal is to ensure that data management is compliant with GDPR moving forward. The successful candidate will work closely with a leaver on-site and a new Lead BA starting in the new year, acting as a liaison to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure a smooth transition. Organisational Funds Review : This project focuses on understanding how funds flow through the organization. Network and Security Engineer Newcastle £400-£450 Per Day 3 Months Contract Client: My client is a leading national educational Group who are looking for a Network and Security Engineer to come on board and provide an excellent level of support for IT infrastructure, primarily in the areas of security and network throughout the organisation. Your Role: Key Responsibilities: Administration, support and maintenance of various network and perimeter security appliances and security software to ensure a sufficient level of protection to all systems at all times. Support the implementation of processes and introduction of systems to ensure the organisation is compliant with current security standards (e.g. Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS). Implement devices and software to capture, analyse and record network traffic to provide a high level of visibility and immediately detect and resolve issues. Lead on the configuration and deployment of new security appliances, which will involve translating configuration from legacy devices from a variety of vendors to the new equipment - ensuring downtime is minimised as much as possible. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. Ensure all systems, processes and standards are fully documented and available. Keep up to date with the latest technologies and processes to continually improve overall security.
