This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capability, a solid mathematical mindset, and the technical skills to turn complex data into meaningful commercial insight. The successful candidate will be embedded within a pricing team focused on improving pricing strategy, margin performance, and overall commercial decision-making. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the Pricing Manager and wider commercial teams to deliver insight across pricing, margin, and product performance. Use advanced SQL to extract, manipulate, and optimise large datasets for analysis and reporting. Apply Python to build models, automate processes, and support deeper statistical or predictive analytics. Perform scenario modelling, price elasticity analysis, and profitability assessments to help shape pricing strategies. Support continuous improvement across pricing workflows through data automation and enhanced analytical processes. Present findings to key stakeholders with clarity and commercial awareness. What My Client Is Looking For Strong hands-on capability with SQL for analytics (complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions). Solid experience using Python for data analysis and modelling. A strong mathematics or statistics background - essential for building robust analytical approaches. Experience working within, or closely with, a pricing, commercial, or revenue function . Ability to interpret data and communicate insights to non-technical audiences. Comfortable being on-site in Coventry four days per week . Desirable Experience Exposure to pricing optimisation, revenue management, or commercial modelling. Industry experience in manufacturing, retail, distribution, or other margin-driven sectors.
