IT Manager / Head of IT Looking for a seasoned and hands-on IT leader to oversee the delivery, security, and continuity of IT and digital services. This senior operational role is responsible for ensuring the campus technology environment is reliable, secure, and fully supports teaching, learning, and student services. The postholder will serve as the local IT lead, collaborating closely with central University IT services and campus leadership to align local operations with institutional standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage campus IT infrastructure, including network, Wi-Fi, AV systems, and devices. Oversee Microsoft 365 and identity management in partnership with central IT teams. Manage the device estate via Microsoft Intune, covering staff laptops, teaching spaces, and shared devices. Ensure operational continuity for teaching, learning, and student support services. Supervise IT service desk operations, incident management, and problem resolution. Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and renewals. Maintain and enhance cybersecurity practices, data protection, and compliance standards.

SITS Developer Analyst Permanent Location: Remote £50k Take a technical lead role in the development of student information applications, data integration, and work-flow design for a range of projects and other data integration services. You will assist in creating and developing strategies and standards for both new and existing service designs, ensuring that these process developments are fully integrated into the environment and support the University's business processes. Develop and maintain forward-looking road maps and plans that align with the functional department's strategy and tactical initiatives. Develop software using specialist programming techniques and in-depth technical expertise; developed and tested software should be capable of deployment to a User Acceptance Testing environment using documented release procedures. Be responsible for the delivery and overall quality of the best technical software solutions to meet customer's needs and business requirements. Actively test developed software to identify potential faults and make decisions on the most appropriate and effective technical approaches for resolving specific issues, as the technical expert. Job Title : Project Manager Salary : £36,385 to £43,413 per annum Location: South East Contract Type : Perm Description : The Project Manager role is for the provision of project management within the ICT department, under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager. Previous technology projects delivered by the team have included implementation of new applications, system upgrades, and data integration, infrastructure and security projects. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that realistic project plans are prepared and maintained and track all activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders, as appropriate Provide a helpful, responsive and courteous service to all users and to work in co-operation with all sections of ICT to ensure the furtherance of its operational and strategic objectives. Monitor costs, timescales and resources used, and take action where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensure that delivered systems are implemented within these criteria. Provide effective leadership to the project team, ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience. Take appropriate action where performance deviates from agreed tolerances. Essential Criteria : Demonstrable use of project management methodologies to deliver business change and benefits. Delivered multiple IT projects of varying complexity utilising resources across different organisational areas. Experience in leading project meetings and documenting as required. Experience in utilising standard project management software such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner. Experience in managing multiple projects at a time Desirable Criteria: Prince 2 Practitioner level ITIL Foundation or higher Experience of working in Higher Education
