We're looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Network Engineer to join a growing technology team working on complex and high-impact environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in secure, scalable, cloud-native infrastructure projects that underpin critical services across hybrid estates. The Role You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based network infrastructure within Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable connectivity across multi-site and hybrid environments. Key Responsibilities Design and deploy Azure networking solutions (VNets, VPN Gateways, NSGs, Azure Firewall, WAF, Load Balancers, Application Gateway). Support hub-and-spoke topologies and hybrid connectivity models. Monitor and optimise network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure stability across environments. Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI . Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices. Align all network deployments with security standards and Zero Trust principles. Collaborate closely with architecture, development, and security teams. Maintain thorough documentation and support knowledge sharing across teams. Skills & Experience Required Strong track record in Azure networking and cloud infrastructure. Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, Firewalls, and related concepts. Experience with Azure services: VNet, App Gateway, Firewall & WAF, Network Watcher, Load Balancer. Hands-on Scripting/automation skills with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform. Familiarity with network security principles and Azure-native tools. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Current SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain). Desirable Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (or similar). Exposure to Zscaler and Okta. Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or Log Analytics. What's on offer Hybrid working in central London.
