Reports To: Head of IT Operations Position Summary Project Manager to scope, manage and deliver the relocation of the Aberdeen on-prem data centre to the Azure Cloud. The Aberdeen data centres are currently running on end of serviceable life hardware. Neptune's policy is to transfer these to the public Azure cloud or Neptune's private cloud. In scope for this project are:Aberdeen Office DatacentreBrightsolid Datacentre back up for AberdeenSoftware upgrades where it eliminates security risks and provides improved application and infrastructure performance. Out of scope:Software upgrades where not necessary for migrationLondon Office Key Deliverables will be: Business case and project brief refinementProject start-up, prepare and create landing zones in Azure/CegalEstablish redundant connection of landing zones with CygnusDatacentre monitoring for analysis, scope and planningArrange for adequate user rights TCS and Cegal teamMigrate officenet applications to AzureCreate new office network for Aberdeen officeMigrate legacy domain applications to azure/Cegal hybrid cloudDecommissioning hostsRemoval of hardware from brightsolid and Aberdeen officeFormal Project closure sign off and hand over to IT operations Main duties & responsibilitiesFully plan and scope the detail of the data centre relocation as phase 1 of the projectProvide a full business plan for relocation including all project requirements, delivery timelines and costsCreate detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirementsManage Neptune Vendors to ensure on time on budget delivery of their servicesCompile and submitting project status reports to clients, management and other stakeholdersWork effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementationRunning the project board to align on priorities for deliveryDeliver the Aberdeen data centre relocation on time and on budget Qualifications / Experience / ProfileExperienced and suitably qualified Project Manager with exposure to the delivery of IT and IS focused projects, skilled in agile delivery methodologies.
