CAD Technician - Boston - 26/27k + benefits ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a junior CAD Technician with immediate effect for our client based close to Boston, in Lincolnshire. AutoCAD skills are essential for this role. AutoCAD Technician: Our client is seeking a CAD Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and be proficient in AutoCAD software. This role is crucial for supporting their main projects and you will play a huge part in their growth, by creating drawings and schematics. You will work closely with the engineers and the design team to ensure that designs are accurate, functional, and meet client specifications. Responsibilities Develop detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings. Conduct revisions of existing drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders. Maintain an organised library of CAD files and documentation for easy access by team members. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and specifications. Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards within their industry. Skills Strong understanding of CAD principles and construction processes. Ability to create accurate schematics for various engineering disciplines. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
