Who we are, what we do Sensat is a geospatial AI business that powers advanced and highly functional digital twins for the world's most critical infrastructure projects. We partner with the world's largest construction, engineering and critical infrastructure companies, including National Grid, Network Rail, Heathrow and Severn Trent Water. We enable our customers to fight the costly and high-risk "Status Quo" of siloed data, people and processes. Our AI-powered digital twins help teams digitally visualise, plan and manage projects, providing Project Confidence Through Clarity. We are a high trust, high impact team, who offer purpose driven work. We operate with autonomy and flexibility in an agile, flat structure. We look for highly talented, adaptable and curious individuals who love solving meaningful problems and who share our resilient team spirit when facing challenges! We more than doubled ARR in 2025, with a strong pipeline that positions us for another year of 100%+ ARR growth this year! Backed by over £25 million in funding from blue-chip investors like National Grid Partners and with imminent US market entry representing a significant value inflection point, this is an exciting time to join the Sensat team! The role - why it exists & why it's interesting If you're a recent graduate who's itching to do real technical work, this role was built for you. As an Associate Technical Solutions Engineer, you'll be the bridge between our users, product, and engineering. That means solving genuine technical problems, getting hands-on with customer data, and making our support and professional services function smarter over time. It's a broad remit, and that's the point. You'll be stretched, in the best way, across platform support, data wrangling, scripting, and process improvement, all on a platform that's doing something genuinely interesting in the built environment space. We're not looking for someone who just wants to clear a queue. We want someone who asks why the queue exists and does something about it. Someone who brings new thinking, not just diligence. What you'll be doing Technical Support & Professional Services Own the Queues: Manage the incoming support queue (Intercom/Email) and the Professional Services Jira board; prioritising, triaging, and resolving tickets within SLA. Investigate & Resolve: Dig into technical issues, writing SQL queries or python scripts and combing through logs to understand what's going wrong and why. Fix what you can; when something needs deeper engineering attention, hand it over cleanly with thorough investigation notes and replication steps. Execute Technical Tasks: Handle a broad range of professional services requests, including: Generating data products (e.g., Digital Landscape , GIS Contextual Layers). Configuring customer environments, including CDE syncs, SSO setup, and scripting bulk actions to automate repetitive configuration tasks. Performing geospatial data engineering tasks, such as fixing data CRS, cropping raster and vector files, cleaning data, applying georeferencing; using scripts and database tooling. Process Improvement & Automation Find the "Why": Analyse ticket trends to surface patterns, bottlenecks, and recurring pain points, then bring those findings to the table. Deliver Insights: Maintain dashboards tracking support and PS metrics, and share what you're seeing with the wider team. Build Automation: When you spot something repetitive, automate it. Data fixes, reports, configuration tasks; if it happens twice, it shouldn't have to happen manually a third time. Scale Knowledge: Write troubleshooting guides and reusable code snippets that make life easier for everyone, including future you. What you'll bring Technical Proficiency: Solid, hands-on experience with SQL and scripting languages such as Python and Go, for automation and ETL pipelines. A Degree: (or equivalent practical experience) in a STEM subject such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Geospatial Science, or a related technical discipline. A "Detective" Mindset: You enjoy pulling a thread until you understand what's actually going on, and you have a knack for finding the simple explanation inside a complex problem. You write it up clearly when you do. Communication that bridges teams: You can talk to an engineer about a bug and explain the same issue to a non-technical user without missing a beat. Ownership & Proactivity: You don't wait to be told what to improve. You spot it, flag it, and often fix it. Preferred Domain Familiarity: Some exposure to geospatial, GIS and Remote Sensing concepts (e.g., CRS, vector/raster data, point clouds) or CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar). You don't need to be an expert; genuine curiosity and a willingness to learn matters more. Bonus Experience with support and ticketing tooling (Jira, Intercom, or similar). Experience with BI or analytics tools (e.g. Metabase). Experience writing technical documentation or Jupyter notebook walkthroughs. Familiarity with a web or systems language such as TypeScript or Go. Where You'll Fit In You'll sit within our technical division, working closely with Product, engineering, and research. You'll also work closely with our Customer Partnerships team so you'll be connected to both the people building the Sensat platform and the people helping customers get the most from it. We genuinely care about the people in this team, and that shows up in how we work. You won't be thrown in and left to sink, but you will be trusted to take real ownership early, and supported when you need it. Within six months, we'd expect you to be independently executing the full range of professional services tasks, contributing insights that shape what we build and how we support customers, and shipping your first meaningful automation. Growth Path This role is designed to grow with you and we mean that. The most natural path is going technically deeper, towards a mid or senior Technical Support Engineer or a Forward Deployed Engineer role as our platform evolves. If you discover you'd rather be building the product than supporting it, there's a genuine route into platform engineering. And if the customer relationship side turns out to be your thing, Customer Partnerships is a natural home. We won't box you in; where you go will depend on where your strengths and interests take you. Please note this role is hybrid with 3 days per week in the London office. What we'll bring When Sensat succeeds, so will you, with significant equity share options. Take a break using your 30 days of annual leave (in addition to bank holidays). A flexible working environment. Continue learning every day through your £500 personal development fund. Regular social events! We've been to the theatre, racing around the tracks go-karting, had movie nights, watched the London Symphony Orchestra, line dancing lessons and murder mystery We've got your back, be it immediate access to mental health support through Spill or enhanced Family Leave for those welcoming a new arrival, we support you throughout your journey here. We care about our people and want to make essential healthcare accessible and affordable. That's why we have an Opt-in Corporate health and wellbeing cash plan (offering up to £1700 in cash back annually) provided through BHSF. We want to enable you to do your best work without having to think about whether your tech will work, so we'll set you up with a MacBook, mouse & keyboard and £250 towards setting up your WFH environment. Pension: with Penfold. Employer contribution of 3%, employee contribution set at 5% but can be increased (relief at source or salary sacrifice). Access to the benefits of our Fora office membership, including access to their gyms and fitness classes, events and dog friendly office. Other benefits including cycle to work scheme, season ticket loans, eye-care vouchers, payroll giving. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We welcome applications from all individuals regardless of age, disability, gender, marriage or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. All employment decisions are made on the basis of qualifications, merit, and business need, and our recruitment processes are conducted in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know. At this time, we are only able to accept applications from those who have a right to work in the United Kingdom. Our office is in Old Street, London.

Backed by over £25 million in funding from blue-chip investors like National Grid Partners and with imminent US market entry representing a significant value inflection point, this is an exciting time to join the Sensat team! The role - why it exists & why it's interesting Visualisation is a core pillar of our digital twin platform. It is where vast, messy, multi-format project data gets turned into something that makes immediate sense to the engineers and project teams who depend on it. Done well, it's the difference between a project team catching a problem early and missing it entirely. We are looking for a software engineer who gets excited about graphics and geospatial technology, and is equally at home contributing across our wider platform. Graphics and data processing is where you'll go deepest, but this is a team that figures things out and we expect you to do the same wherever the work takes you. What you'll do Graphics & Geospatial Build and improve pipelines to process, optimise, and serve large-scale geospatial and CAD datasets for the web. Work with modern 3D data formats (glTF, USD, 3D-Tiles, point clouds) and understand the tradeoffs in how they're stored, streamed, and rendered. Develop and iterate on rendering functionality using WebGL-based libraries, balancing visual quality, accuracy, and performance. Stay close to developments in graphics and geospatial tech - feeding new approaches into your thinking and raising them with the team. Platform & Product Contribute across the SaaS platform - backend APIs (Golang), database work (Postgres), frontend features (Angular), and cloud infrastructure (AWS). Contribute to platform reliability and engineering standards - code review, testing, documentation, and team processes. Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to ensure the platform delivers a well-rounded, high-quality experience. What you'll bring Must-haves Hands-on experience with WebGL or a WebGL-based rendering library (three.js, luma.gl, deck.gl, Babylon.js, or similar). You've built or shipped something real with it. Exposure to modern 3D asset formats such as glTF, USD, and 3DTiles. You understand what they're for and where they fit. Comfortable working across the web stack. Graphics is a specialism here, not a silo. Experience in a systems or compiled language (C, C++, Rust, or Go). You're not afraid of lower-level code when the problem calls for it. 3+ years of commercial software development. You're comfortable building, testing, and shipping reliable code without heavy hand-holding. When you hit something unfamiliar, you pull the thread. You ask early when stuck, but you don't wait to be unblocked. Good to have Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure or database design beyond the basics (AWS and Postgres are what we run). Exposure to geospatial, GIS, or remote sensing concepts (CRS, raster/vector data, point clouds). Curiosity counts more than depth. Prior work in construction, engineering, or infrastructure software. Side-projects or open source contributions in graphics, geospatial, or a related area. Please note this role is hybrid with 1-2 days per week in the London office.
