Package includes a vehicle + private medical + life insurance We are working with a control system integration business that specialises in projects within the Water sector to recruit a control system service engineer. Experience we are looking for: PLC Fault Finding (and taking backups of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA) and modifications Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience and/ or 17th / 18th Edition Instrumentation / experience calibrating ultrasonics Role will involve travelling to multiple different client sites daily. There will be opportunities for progression into working on projects with more complexity. In the meantime, you will be able to join various training programmes to enhance your PLC programming and instrumentation skills. You might be working as a technician looking to to make the leap into a control system integrator - this would be the ideal opportunity for you. Ability to deliver practical, informal training to a group of engineers Experience with setting up, backing up, and troubleshooting Simplicity SCADA systems. Comfortable providing flexible, on-site support and training (potential for drop-in sessions). Contract will run for at least 2 weeks initially with a longer term GE Cimplicity role in 3-6 months time. The ideal candidate will have control system engineering project experience working across the whole project lifecycle. We dont mind what PLC platform you have experience on as we can craft the induction process to give you room to develop into the role. As part of working the full project lifecycle youll be expected to commission your own code and conduct the FAT / SAT. Were ideally looking for someone who has: Schneider / Mitsubishi PLC software experience 18th Edition / HNC ECS Card The company operate flexible hours and there are options to work from home for some of the week.
