The Power Platform Developer utilises their passion for application development, analytics and data visualisation to drive Power Platform initiatives for Core29 clients. The position will work with both IT and development professionals as well as key stakeholders across Core29 clients to understand the business needs, ensuring applications are functional, intuitive and appropriately designed, and data is understandable, accessible and accurate through interactive reporting solutions to drive informed decision making. The role of Power Platform Developer within Core29 must ensure high quality documented output, a business focussed delivery, and strict time management. Typically, Core29 will scope requirements, meet key players, identify functional and data gaps, and make recommendations where improved application processes and reporting can lead to improved productivity, data driven decisions and improved business insights. We ensure the client has ownership of the tools once implemented and we always remain independent and transparent throughout delivery. The Power Platform developer will: Gather business requirements through engagement with clients Design and develop applications for business users through Power Platform Design appropriate back-end data structures, and intuitive front-end interfaces Design and build Power Pages solutions. Build and modify dimensional data models for analytics Build and modify ETL process to incorporate data from multiple sources Visualise data for business customers through reporting Apply best practises and optimal methods to ensure performance and efficiency in solutions. Engage with users to demonstrate value and encourage usage of solutions; to be an advocate of Power Platform Administer Workspaces, Environments, SharePoint sites and related components Demonstrate and communicate an understanding of licensing models Ensure solutions are built with precision, attention to detail, and appropriate validation. Create technical and maintenance documentation Communicate across all levels of a business and with third parties. Competencies: Proficiency with Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages. Understanding of relevant programming, markup and query languages to support development, including DAX, M, HTML, SQL, JavaScript Experience with data visualisation, ETL processes, and data modelling for reporting. Understanding of data platforms and design, including Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Be detail oriented and technically minded Excellent communication skills with the ability to express complex concepts in a straight-forward manner Able to function both as part of a team or as an individual, depending on the project Core29 are leaders in business transformation using innovative technology.
