We’re looking for a hands-on individual who is solutions focused and has LMS admin experience (preferably Moodle or Totara Learn) to support in all aspects of maintaining, troubleshooting and improving the Academy’s core platform, Kaya. You will learn the platform inside out, and work with a number of internal and external stakeholders to ensure Kaya provides high-quality, relevant, accessible and engaging learning opportunities for the sector, to help fulfil the Academy’s charitable mission. The Organisation The Humanitarian Leadership Academy (Academy) is a global learning initiative with a mission to enable people to prepare for and respond to crises in their own countries. To achieve this, the Academy acts as a catalyst for the improved quality, accessibility and sustainability of humanitarian learning and knowledge so that the delivery of aid is more effective, immediate, and local – saving lives and safe-guarding livelihoods. https://www.humanitarianleadershipacademy.org/ https://www.kayaconnect.org/   The Role As LMS Support Specialist, you will: Upload new content to the platform, and ensure the consistency and quality of existing content in the course catalogue. Support both Academy staff/consultants and end-users by providing swift resolution to technical issues, queries and administrative requests. Work closely with and provide support to the Platform Manager as required, particularly with the testing of new developments and the delivery of projects, to ensure Kaya remains a robust, innovative and ultimately sector-leading learning platform. The Person To be successful you will have experience in administration of a Learning Management System (LMS) – preferably Moodle or Totara Learn – and familiarity with a range of online/blended learning methodologies, standards and formats that can be set up, managed and maintained using an LMS.
