Responsible for ensuring the implementation and adherence to ISO 15288 processes throughout the Systems Engineering lifecycle. The Systems discipline plays a key role in guiding and supporting multi-discipline teams to apply a Systems Engineering approach, ensuring that stakeholder requirements are fully realised, products are delivered to specification, and compliance is demonstrated to meet customer expectations, while adding quality and value throughout the process. Key responsibilities Supports the Engineering Project Lead in delivering the engineering obligations of a project, to the agreed plans, budget and schedule. Accepts and delivers delegates leadership responsibilities applicable to the Systems assigned work packages and assurance tasks. Responsible for all aspects of the development of technical solutions to large and complex engineering problems, following Systems Engineering processes, to ensure customer requirements are satisfied. Responsible for the contributing towards the design, development and delivery of the Systems Engineering artefacts. Work closely with the system, hardware, firmware and software architects to ensure consistency, design for modularity and re-use, and technical excellence. Lead, manages and reports on defined aspects of the project to achieve optimal balance between requirements, schedule and cost. Manage customers and external suppliers to ensure compliance with agreed processes and achievement of project objectives. Ensure and review technical proposals, and provide accurate estimates for the associated effort, costs and risks, for bids and proposals. Reviews and signs off significant technical documents; frequently supports chairs in technical reviews for significant deliverables. Develop to achieve a specific Subject Matter Expertise, recognised as the company expert, in a specific subject matter, such as a specific practice, tools, product type or technical area. Skills required Essential: Significant experience and a full understanding of Systems Engineering, the V lifecycle, various development models and associated processes. Experience of developing high quality requirements and establishing a fully compliant systems design. Demonstrable experience in implementing the full Systems Engineering lifecycle. Experience in writing high quality technical documentation. Substantial knowledge of System Engineering practices, methodologies, processes, techniques and technology trends. Experience of DOORS, UML, Enterprise Architect and SysML. Desirable: INCOSE recognition ASEP or CSEP Experience working as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME). NCSC security processes and familiar with deliver of associated security artefacts.

Job Title: Electronics Test Engineer Location: High Wycombe Work Arrangement: On-site 4 5 days Citizenship Requirement: British National Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Engineer to join our clients engineering team in High Wycombe. You will play a key role in testing, assessing, and troubleshooting electronic sub-assemblies as part of a new product development (NPD) program. The role involves close collaboration with design engineers to validate performance and resolve issues across digital and RF electronics systems. Key Responsibilities: Test and evaluate electronic sub-assemblies for performance, functionality, and reliability. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in both digital and RF circuits, working collaboratively with the engineering team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Support the development and execution of test procedures for new hardware designs. Document test results, issues, and corrective actions in accordance with company standards. Provide technical feedback to support design improvements during the development lifecycle. Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant quality, safety, and security standards. Essential Requirements: British National (due to security and export control requirements). Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting electronic hardware. Strong understanding of digital and RF electronics principles. Proficient in the use of standard lab and test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, multimeter, etc.). Practical experience diagnosing faults at component and sub-assembly level. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a collaborative working style. Desirable Experience: Background in complex defence electronic systems. Experience using and interpreting data from a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). Familiarity with new product introduction (NPI) or prototype testing environments.
