Skills and experience you need as Metadata Lead Metadata Expertise: Collibra specialist with strong data cataloguing and lineage knowledge, as well as strong Databricks Unity Catalog experience. Delivery Leadership: Experience designing and executing against delivery roadmaps that are underpinned by purposeful outcomes and value. Communication: Ability to translate technical solutions into clear and understandable business outcomes and value. Governance Focus: Excellent understanding of Data Governance/Data Quality best practice and strong experience of using metadata tooling capabilities to deliver business value. Coaching: Experience developing junior data governance and data quality stakeholders, ability to set a vision and delivery path that junior members of the team can execute against, and strong influencing skills that enable Data Owners and Stewards to be effective.
