Your Role Provides strategic leadership in the delivery and management of AI product strategy and development, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the Firm's wider technology, Data and AI strategy. Engages with senior leadership across the firm, including the Director of Data and Chief Technology & Data Officer, to translate strategic priorities into the AI product roadmap for Linklaters. Leads the team of data & AI Product Owners, collaborating with other technology teams to meet the requirements of the Firm through creating AI & data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency, differentiate client experience, and drive growth.Responsibilities will include: Provides strategic leadership for the delivery of AI Products and is the Lead Product Owner for all AI MVPs in development across the Firm. Works closely with the other teams in technology to ensure an effective handover of an MVP that can be built out to a full Product. Collaborates with technology and business teams to gather requirements and promote adoption of these MVPs as moved into production. Leads the development of the product roadmap and backlog to streamline execution and oversees implementation of data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Provides high-level oversight and strategic input to cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration and ensuring that solutions are continuously refined for optimal performance. Helps to position the Firm as a leader within the Data & AI technology space, showcasing deep expertise on industry trends, players and emerging technologies to continuously improve product capabilities for the Firm. Champions the development of training programmes and knowledge-sharing initiatives that enhance the Firm's position as a centre of excellence in Data & AI technology usage and innovation. Oversees the preparation and delivery of reports and presentations to communicate ideas, findings and project progress to senior stakeholders. Leads and develops high-performing team, driving talent development and fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. About You Extensive experience as a Product Owner or in a similar leadership role, ideally within Data & AI product development and delivery. Proven ability to drive strategic direction across a portfolio of technology products, particularly through MVP launch and scaling to full production-ready solutions. Strong track record in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes. Deep understanding of product lifecycle management and experience in creating product roadmaps, backlogs, and strategies to maximise execution and adoption. Advanced knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), multiagent orchestration, and strategic leadership focused on governance and Human In The Loop (HITL) design. Technical proficiency in Agentic frameworks, advanced prompt engineering & reasoning, and in implementing AI governance (guardrails & security),agent evaluation, model auditability & trust. Experience influencing senior stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations, progress reports, and insights based on data-driven decision-making. Strong leadership skills, with a history of building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams, while fostering an inclusive and innovative team culture. Familiarity with designing and implementing knowledge-sharing initiatives, training programmes, and other methods that encourage the adoption of new technologies in an organisation. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to oversee and refine complex solutions in dynamic environments. Prior experience within legal services, professional services, or other regulated industries is advantageous but not essential.
