A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Nottingham for a 1st / 2nd line Service Desk Analyst on a 3 monthly rolling contract. Parking available on site £11 - £13.50 per hour You will be supporting users ensuring technical issues and incidents are resolved or escalated if necessary. You will ideally have experience working in a Technical support / 2nd line / Service Desk environment Communication skills are essential as is the ability to work flexibly on a shift basis. Responsibilities: • Answering incoming calls within an appropriate time frame, to a high level of customer service. • Take responsibility for the resolution of faults from 2nd and 3rd line • Logging calls accurately • Allocate and chase closure on calls. • Follow all internal processes to ensure service activity targets are met. • Working within the team to build relationships with colleagues and clients. • Awareness of relevant technology and products. • Appropriate escalation of incidents and requests to the Service Desk Team leaders. You will be familiar with Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 and Windows 7 amongst numerous others and be confident learning new technologies. Our client are looking to recruit for a Test Analyst on an initial 5 month contract basis, based in Cardiff. The successful candidate will.. * Demonstrate and maintain knowledge and expertise of test methodologies and relevant industry standards * Demonstrate and maintain knowledge and expertise in test tools e.g. Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server * Demonstrate and maintain knowledge of working within an Agile Methodology * Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the systems to be tested and the business and clinical processes the system is intended to support * Demonstrate and maintain the level of knowledge necessary to carry out their duties in areas such as: 1. Microsoft SQL Server 2. Team Foundation Server 3. XML 4. Soap UI 5. Writing and executing SQL queries 6.
