A DevOps Engineer is required to join the team at MASS. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating the production of software builds and continuous integration of software projects in support of delivery projects and product development.
The successful candidate will be required to hold security clearance to at least SC level and will have at least 3 years of industry experience. You will be a self-starting and proactive individual who takes pride in quality, values team work and collaboration and is not afraid to suggest improvement ideas. You must should have programming experience in at least two of C++, C#, Java, Oracle PL/SQL as well experience of using Windows, Unix, JIRA, Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Git, SQL and Subversion. Your experience should include examples of automating builds, tests and deployments to develop continuous integration solutions. Knowledge of other DevOps tools such as Gradle, JUnit, TestNG, Bamboo, Puppet, Chef and SaltStack would be advantageous but is not essential.
A BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering would also be advantageous but is not essential.
This Software Engineer role is for 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and based in Lincoln. The salary is negotiable plus full company benefits.
