The client is looking for someone who has a good understanding of modern coding conventions such as OOP & MVC, as well as having some basic knowledge of development frameworks – ideally Laravel. The client would ideally like someone who has some experience with version control systems but the candidate must have proven ability to build bespoke applications from start to finish. The candidate will be writing well structured, reusable, modular, annotated code as well as knowing when to look for pre-written scripts and libraries to speed things along. The client is looking for someone who has 3+ years’ experience as a Web / Software Developer with a meticulous approach to your coding with excellent attention to detail. The role will be to deliver high-quality code for various software solutions and assist in the architecture of new software solutions and assist in environment setup (Website configuration DEV, UAT and Production) and Environment deployments (DEV, UAT and Production). The candidate will need to assist with gathering of requirements and creating timescales and support Technical Leads in reviewing development, implementation and testing to make sure quality is achieved before passing to QA team. The ideal candidate is someone that’s comfortable with full stack technologies, including C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and ideally have knowledge of software design experience and who is comfortable with DI, TDD/BDD and continuous deployment. The stack is primarily .NET on the backend with Angular or React on the front-end and host everything on Azure, using a wide range of the available technologies. Overview & Responsibilities * Work as part of a small project team where everyone is involved in the planning and execution of work. * Be responsible for your own development tasks, delivering them on time and within agreed budgets. * Carry out code reviews and submit pull requests to be reviewed by the team. * Handover developed user stories for acceptance testing. * Participate in technical design and planning. * Continually look at & assess new technologies and patterns.
