Informatica Consultant Skills and Experience • Assisting the Project Manager with day to day management of projects. Our client are looking for a Digital Tester to provide Testing & QA across a variety of web and non-web based projects as part of the Testing Team. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * To perform both web and computer systems testing on a day-to-day basis * To positively contribute to the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the digital testing services, processes, procedures and standards provided and utilised by the Test Team * To create and clearly document test plans and execute them. * Day-to-day liaison with internal staff, together with external users and customers on testing-related matters * To gain an in-depth understanding of those end-to-end business processes and their supporting computer applications that are under test * To possess and maintain a thorough and current working understanding of industry-standard computer quality assurance and systems testing processes, procedures and standards, in both theoretical and practical terms, with particular emphasis on web and email based applications SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Essential * Demonstrable experience of testing Web Sites, Email and Mobile user interfaces and APIs including the capture of data * Excellent Automation knowledge * Experience with testing Web services eg using POSTman or SoapUI * Extensive practical experience within multiple development and maintenance projects * Experience loading data files and working with complex databases including solid experience of utilising SQL, minimally on an advanced query basis * Needs to be a self-starter able to document the tests required and undertake them * Strong hands on experience of writing and executing manual test plans and test cases * Ability to log and take ownership of the resolution of software defects * Ability to assess risk and derive core functions for testing and manage testing within timescales allowed * Experience working on projects using Agile methodology * Used to working in a fast paced and pressured environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
