The ideal candidate will assist in the introduction and expansion of the manufacturing and assembly of to 3rd party and overseas sites as well as assisting in the introduction to 3rd party inwardly licensed products. Liaise with the engineering, manufacturing and commercial functions to provide satisfactory solutions to the day-to-day problems and the progression of designated Licensee, Joint Venture & 3rd Party projects. Assist in the development and definition of kits required by partners for the localised manufacture of outward & inward licensed products. Assist with the transfer of drawing revisions and technical information between the company and its partners. Assist in the logistical aspects of the supply of components, kits and equipment between the company and its partners. Provide costed solutions of product content to various commercial scenarios. Develop and be able to transfer specific product and manufacturing process knowledge within a short timescale. Transfer and implement working procedures and practices to 3rd parties to an auditable standard. Operate NX & Teamcenter within Engineering controls Carry out external audits to assess 3rd party capability and conformity to requirements. Functional Competencies Essential: Experience of working within an engineering & technical support environment. Have an understanding and empathy with the commercial aspects associated with engineering activities. 3D CAD & PLM experience. PC literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Desirable: Experience within the manufacturing and/or production engineering fields. The role will require the successful individual to do the following; responding to requests, building, configuring and installing new Workstations, Desktops and Laptops in a very busy and demanding environment. The engineer will contact associates for their PC hardware and software requirements, to build new Laptops and Desktops, copy user data to new PC as well as installing at the desk and wiping the HDD off the machine. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Software and system fault diagnosis, analysis and fix. * Respond to all email requests regarding Refresh issues. * Take responsibility for stock used and follow the correct procedures regarding stock management. * Build new machines within the time scales provided by the Team Lead * Install additional applications on the new equipment * Copy locally saved data to new device * Wipe the previous device via G-Disk * Acknowledge and respond to emails * Arrange dates and times with users for their interviews and installs * Ownership of all user problems through to completion. * Risk awareness of technology and business impact. * Proactively keeps customer updated with problem status at all times. * Identifying and reporting risk as appropriate in accordance with the guidelines SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * You will need to undertake clearance and pass the checks before you can start in the role (carried out via the company). * PC/Desktop Support knowledge including Windows XP, Windows 7 & Windows Office Suites and core application suites. * Administering Windows ShareFile permissions. * Mobile connectivity (E.g. secureID/MAS) * Microsoft Certification (MCSE/MCSA/MCP’s). * Knowledge of SCCM * Good knowledge of H P and Dell Workstation, Desktops & Laptops * Accepts and handles responsibility. * Cooperates with supervisors. * Willing to learn new skills. * Works with minimum supervision. * Solves personal and professional problems. * Microsoft Windows XP/7 and office applications. * Excellent Communication and People skills. * Friendly phone manner

The engineer will contact associates for their PC hardware and software requirements, to build new Laptops and Desktops, copy user data to new PC as well as installing at the desk and wiping the HDD off the machine. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Software and system fault diagnosis, analysis and fix. * Respond to all email requests regarding Refresh issues. * Take responsibility for stock used and follow the correct procedures regarding stock management. * Build new machines within the time scales provided by the Team Lead * Install additional applications on the new equipment * Copy locally saved data to new device * Wipe the previous device via G-Disk * Acknowledge and respond to emails * Arrange dates and times with users for their interviews and installs * Ownership of all user problems through to completion. * Risk awareness of technology and business impact. * Proactively keeps customer updated with problem status at all times. * Identifying and reporting risk as appropriate in accordance with the guidelines SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * You will need to undertake clearance and pass the checks before you can start in the role (carried out via the company). * PC/Desktop Support knowledge including Windows XP, Windows 7 & Windows Office Suites and core application suites. * Administering Windows ShareFile permissions. * Mobile connectivity (E.g. secureID/MAS) * Microsoft Certification (MCSE/MCSA/MCP’s). * Knowledge of SCCM * Good knowledge of H P and Dell Workstation, Desktops & Laptops * Accepts and handles responsibility. * Cooperates with supervisors. * Willing to learn new skills. * Works with minimum supervision. * Solves personal and professional problems. * Microsoft Windows XP/7 and office applications. * Excellent Communication and People skills. * Friendly phone manner

Thorough understanding of Active Directory in a Global Enterprise especially management of group policies to enable a secure but capable environment. Clear understanding of information security especially implementation. Security is paramount in everything we do. Clear and demonstrable experience of SCCM in a global enterprise. Operational knowledge of LAN and WAN networking in a secure environment. The ability to methodically troubleshoot issues across vlans, access control lists.
