TheTest Equipment Architectrole:We are seeking an experienced Test Equipment Architect specialising in the System Design of Test Equipment (TE) for complex systems, plus occasionally system simulators. The role is intended for applicants who have extensive experience of working with and developing Test Systems. Working within the established TE Architecture team, you will be advising the customer; providing guidance on the Test Equipment Requirements; disseminating the requirement into a system design (by producing an Architecture Design Document) and working to ensure the developed test system meets its system requirements. You should be able to act as an authority on test equipment aspects to the design teams and the project. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with continuous improvement activities and the development of new technologies through the IRAD process, and potentially influence our Test Equipment product line (ATENA). Test Equipment Architect skills and experiencerequired: Experience of Test Equipment Design, obtained over multiple projects Knowledge of Test Equipment Software, or software techniques and methods Knowledge of Systems Engineering approaches, ability to spot poor requirements Knowledge of Design for Test aspects, and able to guide and inform the Test Architects/IVLs General knowledge of, and preferably a specialism in one area of the following: Metrology, RF, Digital or Analogue Design, Power electronics, computing, Cyber or FPGA design.
