The Role Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will develop new business across the company s full range of power and energy services. Key responsibilities include: Identify and secure new customers across target sectors. Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. Develop relationships with contractors, facilities management providers, utilities, industrial businesses and public-sector organisations. Sell generator hire, ancillary equipment and bespoke temporary-power packages. Develop opportunities across equipment sales, fuel management and maintenance contracts. Identify large-scale temporary and permanent electrical projects. Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions. Negotiate commercially sound agreements and protect target margins. Cross-sell services across existing and newly acquired accounts. Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and customer activity. Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events. Person Specification Essential: Proven success in business development and new customer acquisition. Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Experience managing a sales pipeline from initial prospecting through to close. Confident presenting technical or service-led solutions. Self-motivated, resilient and comfortable working autonomously. Strong organisation and CRM management skills. Full UK driving licence. Experience within generator hire, temporary power, plant or equipment hire, industrial services, fuel management, electrical infrastructure or engineered solutions would be highly desirable.
