Solution Architect Outside IR35 SC Clearance Required 6months+ Hybrid in Bath (2-3 days per week) 550- 585pd (Outside IR35) Role Overview We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing solution assurance and accreditation processes, ensuring the security and reliability of our networks and hosting platforms. You will engage with various projects and platform providers to understand their plans and impact on implementation. Your expertise in architectural modelling and design will be essential in maintaining our architecture models and guiding future developments. Responsibilities Manage solution assurance and accreditation processes for security, networks, and hosting platforms during project testing and implementation phases. Oversee interactions with projects and platform providers to assess target platform availability and its implications on implementation plans. Maintain architecture models in Sparx EA and project documentation in SharePoint and Confluence (Atlassian). Provide architecture and design services to develop, document, and maintain the future logical and physical high-level design and roadmap for the solution space. Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of architectural goals. Collaborate with the architecture capability to enhance our practises and standards. Experience Proven experience in enterprise or solution architecture. Proficiency in architectural modelling tools such as Archimate and Sparx EA. Experience with client healthcare environments or similar deployed/disconnected settings. Knowledge of solution design assurance, governance, and participation in sign-off processes. Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodologies. Ability to engage with technical teams effectively. Experience contributing to project planning and functional/technical product evaluations. Demonstrated expertise in deep high-level design (HLD), solution design document (SDD), and low-level design (LLD) technical design, particularly in legacy application modernisation projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data integration, migration, and centralisation initiatives, ensuring privacy by design across complex, distributed data landscapes. Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Modelling: - Define enterprise data architecture aligned with GDPR and organisational data strategy. - Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for relational databases (e.g., Oracle), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), and unstructured data. - Establish standards for data classification, metadata, and ownership across structured and unstructured data. - Ensure data models support traceability, lineage, and regulatory reporting. Data Governance: - Architect privacy by design and privacy by default solutions. - Define data retention, archival, anonymization, and deletion strategies across all data stores. - Design architectures supporting DSAR, right to erasure, and consent management. - Define security architecture including role-based access control (RBAC), column/row level security, data masking, tokenization, and encryption. - Ensure compliance across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
