PURPOSE: Our client, a Document Management consulting organisation has identified a requirement for a Mobile Site Infrastructure Engineer to service an area in the South-east of England . The key focus of the Site Infrastructure Engineer role is to manage and support the Group's Network, IT and Communications Infrastructure across sites in the South East as well as becoming the local face of IT Support to our Operational teams. KEY TASKS: Day to day configuration, troubleshooting and fault resolution on standard LAN / WAN components e.g. switches, routers, wireless access points Ability to design, install and interconnect infrastructure across geographically dispersed sites. Installation and decommissioning of EUC devices such as laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices Act as a point of escalation for incidents, liaising between support teams and site resources Management of third party suppliers for installations, fault resolution and ensuring agreed service levels are maintained Build relationships with site operational teams to ensure onsite IT is fit for purpose, enables efficient operations and conforms with company standards. Produce and update technical documentation as and when required SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience with the support, troubleshooting and day to day administration of the following: Network Infrastructure Microsoft365 suite including Windows 11 operating system Data and voice cabling and termination IT Hardware such as printers, PCs, laptops, wireless, and hand held scanners Ability to problem solve and identify appropriate resolutions Excellent communication and presentation skills Highly motivated, flexible and adaptable with a willingness to learn new skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach Work in an organized manner with careful attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Candidates will: - utilise expertise with Windows Servers, Azure cloud, VMware hypervisors and SAN storage to maintain business continuity. - take part in incident escalations to recover or prevent business disruptions. - Proactively assist in capacity, disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Roles and Responsibilities Work with and be part of the infrastructure team to ensure business objectives are achieved. Implement, manage and support the internal IT Infrastructure at an enterprise level. Proactively support the business and ensure hardware and software systems are patched and up to date.
