Qualifications Essential HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Solid knowledge of PLC programming and HMI/SCADA systems Understanding of BS EN 61439 2 and electrical compliance requirements Electrical safety awareness (safe isolation, workshop H&S) Desirable Multi platform PLC experience (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider) Experience with intelligent MCCs, withdrawable systems, and Form 1-4 assemblies Knowledge of industrial networking, IIoT, or remote monitoring solutions Additional training or certification in automation, commissioning, or project delivery
