About The Role We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Technical Lead to join allpay and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology estate. This is a senior technical leadership position responsible for driving the evolution of our hybrid infrastructure environment, spanning Microsoft Azure, private cloud and on-premises platforms. Act as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and major technical challenges. Champion best practices around monitoring, performance management, disaster recovery and service resilience. Strategy & Transformation Play a leading role in delivering our Cloud First strategy and Azure migration programme. Contribute to infrastructure architecture decisions and long-term technology roadmaps. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance performance, security and customer experience. Lead major infrastructure projects and collaborate with suppliers and technology partners. Team Leadership Lead, mentor and develop a team of Infrastructure Engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement. Support career development through coaching, knowledge sharing and performance management. Manage priorities and resources to ensure successful delivery of operational and project work. About You What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capability. Essential Experience Proven experience leading infrastructure teams within a cloud or enterprise environment. Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS). Experience delivering cloud transformation and infrastructure modernisation initiatives. Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server technologies. Experience operating and supporting hybrid infrastructure environments. VMware and/or Hyper V administration experience. Experience with monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning and disaster recovery. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non technical stakeholders. Desirable Microsoft Azure certifications. Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Group Policy. Knowledge of Teams and VoIP technologies. Experience within highly available, enterprise scale infrastructure environments. Experience within financial services, payment platforms or regulated industries. About The Role We are looking for a seasoned and driven Technical Project Delivery Manager. We have a fixed term position for up to 12 months, to work within our Project Management Office and help deliver key projects. As our Technical Project Delivery Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering projects and initiatives critical to allpay's operations, involving systems that process annual transactions worth billions of pounds, serving both internal stakeholders and our extensive client and customer base. Our Technical Project Delivery Manager will report into the Programme Manager and the department's core purpose is to manage a portfolio of IT initiatives from inception through to completion considering business priorities, risks and benefits. What You'll Be Doing Lead the overall planning, coordination, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and agile principles and acting as a champion for the Portfolio Management office. As Chapter Lead you will be not only a technical lead but also a people manager forming part of the wider tribe leadership. Your role as a People Manager As the Chapter Lead for Developers you will lead and manage a team with experience of object oriented programming languages, especially C# and .NET. Within this role you will: Undertake all areas of managing your people throughout the whole employee lifecycle, from recruitment, onboarding to talent management and everything through to separation. Set the vision and standards within the Chapter creating an environment where your people can thrive. Facilitate open and effective communication channels leading to greater knowledge transfer within the Chapter. Potentially manage external parties as part of our scalable resourcing models.
