We are currently seeking a Junior Hardware Engineer to join our Engineering Department in New Malden. This role will play a key part in our radar sensor development team, focusing on electronics development for maritime navigation systems. Key Responsibilities include: Work in the Hardware team to support the development of electronics for new and existing products. To take current and future designs of PCBs. To support improvements to existing products and obsolescence driven changes. Where applicable support internal and external Type Approval Testing, following test plans and liaising with test houses. Hands on project work, assembling cable harnesses, PCB soldering and fault diagnostics in the engineering lab. Support inputs into technical documentation for electronic systems, including specifications, schematics and test reports, in accordance with engineering standards and regulatory environments. Work in a focused, agile team, contributing high-quality results with senior members of the hardware team. About You We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong technical foundation. Ideal candidates will have: Understanding of electronic fundamental principals Experience ininterpreting and electronic schematics Understanding of how drawings, documents and BOM's are created and managed within an engineering environment. Role Overview We are seeking a Project Delivery Manager to lead on site Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) with customer attendance. You'll manage cross functional teams to deliver a high quality, compliant customer experience, working closely with the IBS Project Manager, customers, and stakeholders across Trade Compliance, Engineering, Production, Warehouse, Service, and QA. You will also continuously improve the FAT process, using feedback and lessons learned to enhance delivery. Before FAT: Coordinate equipment, resources, and issue resolution; oversee FAT setup, test procedures, and engineering alignment; ensure QA readiness and pre FAT checks; manage export licences and approvals; arrange logistics (customer visits, rooms, hospitality); and engage with customers in advance. During FAT: Lead on site execution and customer hosting; manage issues in real time; ensure accurate testing and full completion; and secure customer sign off while capturing and tracking all actions. After FAT: Drive closure of follow up actions; coordinate shipment readiness; manage quality findings and customer communication; and liaise with engineering and regulatory teams as needed. About You We're looking for someone who can confidently lead, collaborate, and deliver - bringing the following skills and experience: Relevant industry experience in customer facing project delivery (maritime experience and FAT exposure desirable). Proven track record as a Project Manager delivering complex projects involving supplied equipment. A degree in a technical or maritime discipline (or equivalent experience). Strong communication skills and fluent English. A proactive, structured, and solution focused approach, with strong problem solving ability and process mindset. Security requirement Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) is essential for this role. This typically requires established UK residency. Candidates must be able to undergo BPSS and UKSV checks.
