Infrastructure Engineer An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing civil engineering design team delivering a wide range of infrastructure and development projects. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of highways and civil infrastructure schemes, working across projects from early concept stages through to detailed design and construction support. You will work closely with engineers, designers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, sustainable, and technically robust infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities Deliver infrastructure design solutions across highways, transport, and development projects. Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. Understanding of ground conditions and the implications on Civil Engineering design. The ability to undertake ground modelling and cut / fill analysis for designs such as bulk earthworks and Section 278 surfacing. Ability to check own work before passing to a senior member of staff for approval. Good knowledge of Civil Engineering construction principles. Ability to prepare documentation for both planning submission and planning condition sign-off. Good knowledge of the planning process and an understanding of other parties involved. Clear understanding of CDM and how it applies to the role you undertake. Understanding of and ability to review and recommend for sign off Appointment Documents, Letters of Reliance and Warranty Documents.
