Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Graduate Test Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch their career in testing and quality assurance. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience testing software and hardware solutions while developing your technical skills in a supportive environment. The Role As a Graduate Test Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting the testing and validation of products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, performance and reliability. You'll work closely with Software Engineers, Design Engineers and Project Teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Assist with the planning, execution and documentation of test activities. Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing. Identify, record and report defects, working with development teams to resolve issues. Create and maintain test plans, test cases and test reports. Support the development of automated testing where appropriate. Verify that products meet customer requirements and engineering specifications. Analyse test results and provide clear feedback to the engineering team. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing function. Work within an Agile engineering environment, participating in team meetings and project reviews. The Candidate The successful candidate will have: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related STEM discipline. A genuine interest in software or product testing and quality assurance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. The ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a collaborative environment. Desirable Skills Experience gained through university projects, internships or placements. Exposure to software testing tools or automation frameworks. Basic programming knowledge in languages such as Python, C#, Java or JavaScript . Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. An understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Knowledge of hardware or embedded systems testing would be advantageous. Contract UX Designer 3-Month Contract Location: London (3 days per week onsite, 2 days remote) Contract: Initial 3 Months IR35: TBC My client is looking for an experienced UX Designer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract . This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of customer-focused digital products within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in user experience design and, ideally, previous experience working within the retail sector . You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, engaging user experiences that meet both customer and business needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct user research and translate insights into user-centred design solutions. Create user personas, customer journeys, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes. Work closely with Product Managers, UI Designers and Developers throughout the product lifecycle. Facilitate usability testing and use findings to refine and improve designs.
