Reporting to the IT Director the successful candidate must be extremely proficient in ASP.Net, C#/ VB.Net, CSS and JavaScript and have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.  Responsibilities and Authority  The following responsibilities for this role are bulleted below:  Work closely with members of all areas of the Company (IT, Sales, Project Management and Support) to develop and evolve the HolisTech™ Web Computerised Maintenance Management Software. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product Convert business needs to development tasks Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently Writing SQL stored procedures and functions. Progress reporting. Delivery of a detailed scope of work within the agreed project plan. Conformance to company quality standards. Implementing company policies and procedures.  Required Skills  5+ years of experience with C# and ASP.Net 5+ years of experience with standard web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, AJAX and JavaScript. 5+ years of experience with WebAPI & REST API 5+ years of experience with ASP.Net, MVC 4.0/5.0 and Web Forms 3+ years of experience with Team Foundation Server or other source control providers Strong experience in Object Oriented design and development Experience of VB.Net or other Programing Languages an advantage 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedure development(T-SQL) Strong debugging and performance tuning skills Ability to estimate work effort and meet deadlines  Desired Skills  Qualifications although important are not as essential as proving competency when programming in the languages detailed previously. However, as a minimum the candidate will be expected to have two A levels (or equivalent). Previous experience developing maintenance management, financial or ERP software is a significant advantage.

The post reports to the IT Director but works closely with other developers, forming a close team.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Providing Web Application Development for our software, by becoming an expert in all aspects of the application; Delivering support to existing customer users and investigating and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries; Developing, where agreed and feasible, customisations to the application; Working with the IT function and customers in identifying and proposing application system changes, better uses, enhancements and development.   KEY TASKS Provide Web Application Development within an Agile environment for our software; Ensure all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures; Provide correct responses to requests for support by means of for example: making modifications to system parameters, developing work-a-rounds or site specific enhancements, reconfiguring systems, changing operating procedures, producing additional documentation, or escalating requests; Document work, take part in user meetings and assist in presenting issues and solutions; Define acceptance tests for new or changed functionality.   QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Essential C# ASP.Net Ajax CSS SQL Java Script MS Visual Studio MS SQL Desirable Qualifications although important are not as essential as proving competency when programming in the languages detailed previously.
