McLaren in Woking is looking for an Engineer to coordinate engineering activities across MSO programmes. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Automotive engineering and experience in motorsport or OEM vehicle programmes. Responsibilities include planning and reporting engineering deliverables, leading Engineering Release activities, and working with the supply chain to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate engineering activity across MSO programmes, ensuring timely, on scope delivery. Own product structure, engineering records, test planning and supplier delivery while supporting cross functional stakeholders with clear, actionable information. What You'll Do Plan, track and report engineering deliverables, milestones and programme risks. Lead Engineering Release activities and maintain MSO-responsible BoMs Create, coordinate and manage engineering test plans (DVP) and capture results. Record concerns, drive root cause analysis and manage resolution of issues raised during build or in the field. Work with the supply chain to secure on time delivery of components and technical data. Maintain design guides, technical specifications and test specifications; support DFMEA and related activities. Provide technical input to support Design Engineers. Chair engineering meetings, produce clear action focused minutes and ensure decisions are implemented. Support Product Data Management processes and ensure accurate BOMs and engineering records. What You'll Bring Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or related engineering discipline. Experience in motorsport or OEM vehicle programmes, ideally low volume/high performance. Understanding of engineering release processes, configuration management and BOM control. Experience with DVPs, DFMEAs and engineering test plans an advantage. Practical knowledge of CAD deliverables and ability to review/check models and drawings. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross functionally. You will be responsible for testing and validating s/w download , and EOL processes for our products and rapid resolution of issues in plant . Collaboration with our partners and ensuring on-time delivery of activities will be key aspects of the role. What You'll Do Support the implementation and test of the s/w download system. Establish and refine s/w download and EOL test processes for pre-series builds and volume production, ensuring repeatability and adherence to requirements. Identify issues in the build process and develop contingency plans to mitigate them both for prototype and series builds. Collaborate with and challenge our contract manufacturer to implement and optimize the processes in a volume manufacturing environment. Additional line on diagnostic work / systems works during the build phase s (launch support) Feedback issues captured into issue management and escalated as necessary.
