The Role As a key member of the machining department, you will: Meet exacting customer requirements and deliver high-quality, precision-machined components. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Create, load, edit and save CNC programs using Heidenhain controls. Set tooling, establish work piece datums and plan machining methods for efficient production. Monitor tool condition, make adjustments where needed and maintain exceptional housekeeping standards. Self-inspect your own work and ensure safe working practices at all times. Skills & Experience Required Time-Served Machinist with minimum 4 years' experience. Strong understanding of machining techniques and CNC milling. Competent in programming on-machine and offline. Heidenhain programming experience - essential. CAM programming experience essential; Powermill highly desirable. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and self-inspect critical features. Experience producing complex parts to tight tolerances.
