A rocket engine, space thruster and chemical propulsion design and development client is looking for someone to join their Systems Engineering team. This is a critical role supporting space satellite propellant and other systems for key spacecraft manufacturers. You will work closely with the National and European Space Agencies for defence and scientific projects. Skills Mechanical and fluidic system engineering experience. Duties Perform pressurised propulsion system trade off analysis based on initial, top level inputs. This is a role which requires flexibility and an ability to meet ambitious and often fluctuating deadlines. Review and interpret higher level spacecraft requirements generating System Level requirements. Perform System design including key Electrical, Harnessing Design, routing and schematic components. Thermal equipment design and selection using System Analysis of Fluidic, Performance, Structural, Thermal, Reliability, Radiation, Hazard, Safety, Failure Modes Effects and Critical FMECA Analysis. Advise on Manufacturing and Assembly Plan, process and procedures.

Systems Engineer required ideally with Maritime Defence or Radio Naval Navigation industry experience to manage external customer driven product concept, design, development and delivery with cross functional internal teams including Software, Mechanical and Electrical disciplines. Requirements British Citizen eligible for UK Security clearance. Defence engineering experience of systems and product lifecycles from concept design, integration and test. C and C++ Senior Software Engineer required with Microsoft Visual C++ or MSVC experience ideally with OpenGL or other rich GUI knowledge required to join a large team. You will work towards the ownership of a design from requirement specification through to verified software including extensive test and verification. Test Engineer required to join an amazing, highly skilled and welcoming team who generate test equipment and setup requirements, with a view to performing test equipment and test set up design of thrust systems and Space Engineering. Your role will include the specification, fabrication, build and execution of Hot Fire Tests using propellant and pressurant feed systems, GSE and EGSE. You will have an excellent understanding of chemical rocket engineering, mechanical engineering and some electrical engineering the ideal candidate will have spacecraft chemical propulsion exposure. This role would suite someone who has graduated in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, Physics or similar with an interest in hands on practical engineering, mechanical fitter, rocket engines, fluidic control systems or any space standard experience.
